With the acquisition of R\u00f8ros Metall AS, Franke Group strengthens its leadership position in kitchen hoods and accelerates growth in the Nordic region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Swiss Franke Group, headquartered in Aarburg, is expanding its Nordic presence and strengthening its expertise in central ventilation with the acquisition of R\u00f8ros Metall, a premium Norwegian manufacturer of R\u00f8rosHetta kitchen hoods and ventilation systems. The deal includes 100% of R\u00f8ros Metall shares. Financial details remain confidential.<\/p>\n

R\u00f8ros Metall will become part of Franke Home Solutions, a division of the Franke Group and global leader in intelligent systems and solutions for residential kitchens. This integration fortifies Franke\u2019s position in the Nordic market, combining the strengths of both companies in sustainable, energy-efficient ventilation solutions, and R\u00f8rosHetta will thrive within the Franke global network.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1946, R\u00f8ros Metall is a family-owned company and has a rich history of innovation and high-quality products. It launched its first kitchen hood in 1981 and has since become a key player in the Nordic region. For more than 20 years now, R\u00f8ros Metall has collaborated with Faber, Franke\u2019s leading brand in kitchen ventilation, further strengthening its expertise in the sector. In 2024, R\u00f8ros Metall also became the official distributor for Franke sinks and taps in Norway.<\/p>\n

H\u00e5vard Augensen, owner and CEO of R\u00f8ros Metall, will step into a new role as head of Franke’s operations in the Nordic region and will actively contribute to the growth of the Franke Home Solutions division in the Nordic region. His focus will be on reinforcing expertise in the central ventilation sector and expanding Franke\u2019s regional and European presence. He succeeds Christoph Stuebi, who will lead the integration of R\u00f8ros Metall, ensuring a smooth transition.<\/p>\n
