Over time, the filter may weaken, but it usually does not need to be replaced until after 4\u20135 years, depending on the quality of the hood.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to clean it:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Soak the filter in warm soapy water to loosen grease and dirt, then wash it in the dishwasher at a maximum of 50 degrees Celsius.<\/li>\n<li>Grease ignites easily \u2013 regular cleaning prevents large grease accumulations that could pose a fire hazard in the ventilation ducts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A clogged grease filter reduces the efficiency of the hood and can cause grease to spread further into the ventilation ducts. Anywhere between 4 months to 900 hours of use. If the carbon filter is not replaced in time, its efficiency will be reduced, which can lead to poor air quality in your home. Some carbon filters can be washed or regenerated \u2013 check the product instructions for details.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure the carbon filter works optimally, it is crucial to clean the grease filter regularly. A clean grease filter enhances the efficiency of the carbon filter and can extend its lifespan.
